The Chargers' offensive line trotted out the same starting five for all but two games last year. This season, injuries have played more of a part, but it hasn't hurt the production offensively. San Diego has allowed only seven sacks in the past seven games, and RB LaDainian Tomlinson is among the league leaders in rushing yards. C Nick Hardwick missed the last three games with an ankle injury, and veteran reserve Bob Hallen has filled in admirably. Backup OT Leander Jordan replaced OLT Roman Oben for the final two quarters of Week Eight and all of last week's game against the Jets. Oben, who is said to be "walking like a 90-year-old" with a torn muscle in his left foot, could return after the team's bye but may need a week beyond that. Jordan is considered an adequate fill-in but has a tendency to wear down with more snaps. QB Drew Brees recognized the resiliency of the group last week, acknowledging how difficult it is to be shuffling guys in and out on the line.</blockquote>
