And if the current inept HC lays more eggs, the Whizzer will most likely be promoted to become the interim HC.

I am sure that this is partially motivated by knowing McCoy is on thin ice and that it never hurts to have a foot in the door in case the ice should give way.

Screw the Chinese calendar, 2017 will be the year of the Rivers.

Getting Dunlap and Franklin healthy should help tremendously, but without a real NFL center, both Fluker and Franklin will suffer.

TT prying one of the FA centers from our AFC West rivals would go a long way towards shoring that up (Hudson or Wisniewski, take your pick).

I doubt Whisenhunt is considered as a head coach ever again. If he is, it will probably take about 4-5 years for most teams to forget he failed as a head coach, ala Norv Turner (2001-2006). Just want him here as long as Rivers is still our QB.

I hope Whisenhunt is savvy enough to maintain Reich's tradition of sidelining running backs (ie: Melvin Gordon) after successful plays in order to switch to a different offensive package that will lose three yards on the next snap.
I also hope throughout the course of the game Whisenhunt doesn't lean on that old "coaching crutch" of returning to plays the opposing team has trouble stopping.
Instead, I hope Whisenhunt learns from Reich's boxing metaphors and runs right into "the soft underbelly of the defense" when everyone on the field (and sidelines, stadium nosebleed seats, and watching TV, and anyone not in an emergency room with a piece of 3/4" rebar sticking out of his skull) knows what's coming.
It also wouldn't hurt if Whisenhunt reviewed Reich's most recent book, "Captain Obvious: Strategy Guru!"

Why would he need to? You listed the entire book's content in your post.
