I thought this was interesting to see this article where Theismann whines like a little child. Well, there's that and obsession with Tom Brady. Joe, do us all a favor and STFU!

    http://www.metrobostonnews.com/us/article/2007/06/22/02/1659-66/index.xml

BTW- Joe is dead wrong that Jaws hasn't done TV. Besides working NFL Matchup, he also called the second half of last years opening weekend MNF double header game (Chargers v. Raiders). Joe, not only do you sound like a whiny child, you also have your facts wrong.

Theezman has always been more in love with the sound of his own voice than any man on the planet. What a shock that he thinks he got the shaft. Jaworski ought to offer Lawrence Taylor some crack in exchange for breaking little baby Joe's leg again.

The contempt I have for Joe Theismann is no small secret.

Now they just need to axe korn-holer and his dancing with the stars references.

Theisman never stopped reminding of a loud mouthed high school quarterback who's just been elected prom king. I still remember the story about Parsegian telling him on their introduction, "Not Theezman, Thighsman, as in Heisman".

Oh, yeah. One more thing. I didn't kill Jesus, I only winged him. And I DID vote for the Happy Warrior. :icon_tease:

All I know about Joe is...
    "Theismann" rhymes with "SNAP!"

I am so happy he's off the air. What a waste. At least now MNF is 2/3 respectable...

I liked Jaws on the broadcast, he did a good job (especially because he gave constant props to the bolts  ) analyzing the game and the plays. Hell he contributed more then theisman would.

Theezman made my skin crawl, and I couldn't be happier that he is done. What's going to suck is when he gets a Sunday gig and we have to listen to him do Charger Games every so often. But since I watch MNF every week, the occassional game I am forced to listen to him will be better than having to hear him 17 times a year.

Now they need to shitcan Kornhole and hire Vermeil and we are good to go.

Somehow that just doesn't come across quite right.... :icon_tease:

Thistleman and BeerDork have to be my two least favorite and most annoying announcers. Thistleman may still be on the air, but at least it won't be on MNF

Jaws did a good job on the Chargers MNF. I liked what he brought to the show AND he knew to shut the fuk up when the play started.

Unlike snapper head who would continue to rattle on endlessly....

    Hey Joe! :icon_finger:

Agreed. Kornholer sounds like Fran Drescher, only more whiney.

They may have only been together for one game, but Nessler, Jaws and Vermeil were the best broadcasting team I've heard doing an NFL game in years. Why can't the moronic execs at ESPN recognize this?

I liked the "B" crew that did the chargers/raiders game last year much better than the A-team. I can't remember who was on it with Jaws though, Jaws will be great, but Tirico is kinda boring and I don't give the slightest **** about anything cornholio has to say. Fouts would be great instead of cornheiser. He was much funnier than Dennis Miller.

Dick Vermeil was on that team. Jaws and Vermeil were just great together.

Fouts is simply a terrific color announcer. Best in the business IMO.

I was the only one in the bar in Newport Beach rooting the replays of the infamous "snap heard round-da-world" :icon_eek:

If anyone got jobbed it was Doug Williams.

Amerika makes me want to puke sometimes. :icon_evil: :icon_sad:
