Ok, I've put together my Big Board of the top 50 college prospects entering the draft. This is what I've come up with. The TSCORE is my own propriety scoring system. The score is out of 100. Unfortunately there were no perfect 100s this year, but the score will give you an idea how close or how far a player is from the player ranked above and below him. Take a look and comment away.

That's a great list - looks like your scoring system is pretty effective. I would have placed Kenny Phillips a bit higher, but maybe that's just because I've seen his name being selected by the Bolts in a lot of mocks. Was also surprised to see Cherilus where he is, but you can't make everyone happy ;)

JDB didn't make my top 50 at all. 4 QBs made top 50, but only one made top 10.

This list isn't a prediction of where they'll be drafted as team needs weren't taken into account. This is just how each of these players rate against each other.

    5) QB Matt Ryan
    27) QB Brian Brohm
    35) QB Joe Flacco
    49) QB Chad Henne

    Nice work, Thumper.

Looks like your scoring formula works as well as the so-called "professionals".

Did you take it out to 100, by any chance? Wouldn't mind seeing the next 50, if you have it.

Yes, the TSCORE is out of 100 possible points.

I think I did up to #73 here's the whole list up to #73.

I plan on redoing the whole list in a few weeks. I'll do all the way through 100 next time.

Just Thumpers avatar alone gets me psyched about the draft!!!!!!

Depth is our biggest need at this point:

CB,S, RB, DT,C....we have 4 picks and the suplemental not yet determined, best case scenario 5 picks. What will AJ do, stand pat or trade out and get more selection, and if he does, how many of them actually make the team.

I can't see more than 2 maybe 3 draft picks having any place on this roster a RB a CB and SS.

There may well be a new face on the OL this year. Marcus did it as a rookie - I could see a new RG, if not day one, early in the year.

    Fat, fat, fat.

Well, it's kinda complicated, and I don't want to give the exact formula because people will steal it.

I will tell you that I take in many many factors. I rank each player in a ton of categories. Scores are given for measurables, buzz, my own opinion, and several other categories that I'm going to keep secret. Also, where players fall on a few select lists is also taken into account, although only minimal weight is given to these other lists.

I give each categories a weight depending on how important I feel each category is. After the weights are applied to the scores in each category. Some adjustments are made in cases where a single category out of whack with the rest of a players scores. This is done so that one score in one category doesn't skew the final score. Then the scores are added up with the highest possible score being 100. A 100 score means that a player was just about perfect in every category.

I go through all of this trouble because I know my opinion of some players might be right on, but I could miss out on another player. These weighted categories hopefully improve scores for those that deserve it. For example, I personally ranked Glenn Dorsey above Darren McFadden, but due to all the category rankings, McFadden actually beats out Dorsey in the final list with a tscore of 98.2 over Dorsey's tscore of 98.0.

BTW - TSCORE stands for "Thumper's SCORE"

I know how you like the boys from Cal. Who knows, he might just move up the next list I do. There is such a thing as the "Chispa bump" built into my scoring system.

I made the list a bit over a week ago so it wasn't factored in. I'll be doing an updated list in about a week or two and it'll be factored in then.
