Ok, Bears game was ugly as hell, but we got the job done in the end. Its time to switch gears immediately and focus on the Patriots who dominated the Jets today.

Is anyone worried about our offense? Or do you think it was just one of those days where a good D had a good gameplan?

The Bears D was flying all over the place. NE doesn't have the players that the Bears do on D, particularly with Seymour and Rodney out. I don't expect the same inability to run. But the Bears' gameplan today highlighted the one issue I see: no one is afraid of our WRs, so they stack 8 or 9 guys in the box. Probably a repeat of that next week in NE.

That said, I hope the Bolts embarrass the Patriots. The Jets are not a good football team, so it's hard to gauge the Patriots' true ability based on today.

Fully agree on all points. Two plays they will try and run all day on us will be the slants to Welker and the deep crossing routes to Moss. We D up on those we can win.

Our offense will pick it up a notch against the Geritol linebackers of NE. They are nothing like that amazing D of the Bears.

I'm not worried about our O at all.
If you get that Tommie Harris play back you can add 7 points, it would have been an EASY TD run for LT.
If Vjack catches the easy TD you can add 7 more.

This was really almost a blowout.

We'll be fine. Our offense just faced a top 3 defense (which the Pats don't have), and we could have put up 28-31 points on them. LT and the rest of the offense got the rust out today, and will look much sharper next week. Our D has something to prove and we'll play at even a higher level.

No matter what the Pats throw at us, we'll counter and get our revenge.

were not going to meet a better defense this year having gone against the bear defense. If anything this game will be a good reckoning on how to beat other teams.

The pats are going down. :flag: :flag:

The pasties just beat a team that ain't all that. The media can go ahead and crown the chowder heads champs after beating a team that has no rb and thier qb is an injury away from IR.

Our defense is just damn scary and the patsies don't have an answer to #21

Bears have a great defense, we all knew that. But we were soooooooo close to having 2 more scores to make it 28-3. That being said, the WR's should have had a better game, since the Bears kept stuffing the box.

Although I am a little worried about our defensive backs covering MOSS on deep routes. He clearly does not look like the same WR he was in Oakland. He looked good, and that has me worried. We need to stop him. I don't think he was as injured as he was made out to be in the preseason.

Did you see how much time Brady had to throw yesterday? The Jets were not putting any pressure on him at all.

    That won't happen this week.

Don't worry about my boys D-Backs! They are ok. They know the kind of game they need to play this coming week and they will excel. We will give the offense 3 more opportunities with turnovers.

My boys defense will hold'em to 17 points.

Yeah, this article on NBC Sports agrees with you:

That last sentence is kind of confusing in the way it's written (the Pats caved to the Bolts in Foxboro?), but it's a pretty good article, and they think that the Bolts will give the Pats a challenge.

In the third quarter of the Pats/Jets game yesterday, they flashed a stat: Brady Sacked: 0 Knocked Down: 0 Hurried: 1

I could complete passes with that kind of protection.

He had six to ten seconds to allow Randy Moss to beat three defenders. No pass rush.

We will have to rattle him and make him throw off balance.

And if possible McCree will need to intercept the ball and not bat it down!

Wasn't it the 2nd game as a Raider that Moss pulled up lame in against us?

Randy will get a rude greeting courtesy of the Bolts' secondary - I'm thinking Mr. McCree. Don't expect him or Tom to have the day against us that they had yesterday.

    WE AIN'T THE JETS
