You went with AT&T SCREWverse? Bad, Doug. Really Bad.

AT&T put it on a higher tier without having to run the NFL. It's always been an add-on for Dish Network and other carriers. AT&T will ALWAYS find a way to screw their customers.

Don't get why anyone would stick with cable when they were dicking you over like that (unless due to trees/hill next your house you had no shot at satellite).

So is it gonna be part of the Cable whole package bill or an additional 5$ a month? I really cant imagine they could get away with that when DTV or even Dish is hella beating the pants off of Cable and not because NFLN availability. But thats more b/c its a part of all DTV/Dish programming packages.

Honestly surprised to hear that there are 9 major cable companies. LOL and I thought cable was already a dying breed.

I think the channel will be tier based. So you have to get a particular level of service to get it.

Now, NFL Redzone (not to be confused with The Red Zone Channel on DirecTV) is an additional charge per month. I think on Dish Network it's $7 per month.

Right on. That is bout what I figured. RZ channel in any form will cost more monthly. So if I do end up in a situation where Cable is the only or offered option, at least ill have *finally* NFLN. F.U. to NFL for taking this long.... tho I guess it was more based on other Cable companies having exsclusive rights up until now.

Dude, this was all Time Warner's fault. There were no "exclusive rights" for NFL Network or NFL Red Zone on any cable system. All other major carriers had it. Time Warner didn't want to pay the same price as all the other carriers.

The only exclusive rights you may be thinking about is DirecTV & NFL Sunday Ticket. DirecTV out bid everyone by a wide margin to get it. Plus, it isn't totally exclusive to them any more. You can get it if you have a Play Station 3.
