This is one time I've gotta feel sorry for President Bush.

It was bad enough that he had to have a colonoscopy---the prep for which is probably even more unpleasant than the actual procedure. It was even worse (for US, anyway) that we had an even bigger ******* running the country for a few hours while Bush had a garden hose up his. But I can't imagine anything along this line that compares with the humiliation of having the state of one's inner workings broadcasted to the four corners of the earth, complete with video and an artist's rendering of the presidential polyps.

As a nurse, I'm fiercely protective of patient privacy, and while I'm sure it's important for America to know that the president is reasonably healthy, I don't think we need to know EVERYTHING. It doesn't get much more intimate than pictures of the inside of somebody's colon. That's more than I want to know about my own family members, let alone the leader of the Free World.

Sheesh.........the man lives in a goldfish bowl as it is. Can't we let him have a LITTLE privacy?:icon_evil:

At least it's not General Haig running around chanting .... "I'm in charge here." I'd rather have Colonel North in charge than Haig.

Yeah, I remember when Haig completely forgot where he was in the line of succession and shot off his mouth, like he'd suddenly become King **** of Turd Mountain.

Oops, sorry about the defecation analogy.........considering the subject matter, I couldn't help myself LOL
