I am sad we have Spanos n McMilktoast. Patriots have 3rd string qb, looking like SB contenders.

Patriots coaching making Brady look like a fraud.

2 things stick out about this game

    No injuries

And patriots change their defensive players a lot, keeping them fresh

It didn't occur to me before the season that the Pats could begin 4-0...
    but now...man...that would be sweet.

"Deflategate" was probably the dumbest thing I've seen the league do...
(no one should lose that much income and playing time on such weak "evidence")
would love to hear the ovation as Brady returns to an undefeated team!!

3rd string? BB woulda beat Houston tonight with any guy from the "3rd row."

Brady may've slightly crossed the line with this edition of the Tom Brady Times...
but anyone who whines that there isn't enough fun in football these days, has to approve...

Belichick and McCoy game plans are one and the same for almost all intents and purposes then.

The Chargers change their players a lot, keeping them fresh. Granted that is because of injuries but the net effect....:D

    Two things stood out.

    1. Gawd I am not fond of TB-didn't mind Brissett doin' it at all.

    2. We tackle better than the Flexans.

Just another game that proves Belichick is the greatest coach in the NFL, ever. It's just not fair anymore.

Brissett tore a thumb ligament..... It looks like Edelman will have to throw the ball to himself now. ;)

All streaks come to an end. Belicheat has coached 5 different QBs to a win their first time up. No# 6 will be his downfall or return to Earth...

    Oh c'mon.

Darrell Bevell overthinks things and NE has a Lombardi fall in their lap-that's it for the past decade.

Patricia schemes to beat Brock last night. Big wow.

The cut off sleeves. The stern look. Mike Ditka had much better pressers.

Call me when they change the name of the trophy.

That has been my avi for 5 years, ever since I came to the forum. It's not going anywhere anytime soon. But even more so, I hated Belicheck back then. I still do, and I still hate the Patriots. However, nothing but respect for him now and what he does on a week to week basis with game preps and plans - no other team preps like the Patriots.

Just goes to show, it doesn't matter who goes down or who is out for the Patriots, they get it done. Belicheck prepares every single player in the off-season to be ready when there number is called.

The 77-0 record at home after leading going into half time is incredible. The trophy will be renamed one day.

Well, Parcells did have his Scott Norwood...

And Noll did have his Fuqua...

Only Bevell gets BB a recent vintage ring...

Teaching ? How about MM w/Tebow?

Give me McDaniels, Patricia or Haley.

    It's about the future.

I am not here to wipe Belichik's behind for past considerations.

Yeah he's pretty good, Michael Irvin, just like you.

You can't discredit Belicheck man. Are you kidding?

The culture Belicheck has put in place in New England is like no other. From the way he develops his staff to his players. Look at McDaniels and Patricia, both started on opposite sides of the ball as positional coaches and are now amongst the best coordinators in the league.

Carroll and Bevell overthink that goaline play because of Belicheck and Patricia. You cannot discredit the Patriots, and specifically Belicheck, for the way they prep week in and week out and how they make other coaching staffs look incompetent when it comes to situational football. Of course, there are times Belicheck overthinks things and comes off as arrogant, and rightfully so but it happens so rarely.

I've been touting for McDaniels to become a head coach all last year and now this year even more so with what he has done with Garroppolo and Brissett.

I love Todd Haley as well, and I think if he was to come to San Diego, he'd keep Whisenhunt around. Both worked together in Arizona, where they had a 38 year old Kurt Warner at QB and took that that team to the Super Bowl, only losing in the dying seconds after one of the best catches in Super Bowl history made by Santonio Holmes. They would make a terrific duo on offense.

Just pulling your chain SuperCharger92--much respect for your football ideas.

It's Irvin I am crushing. (great word)

Yeah that was quite a performance.

Now BB gets 10 days to prepare.

    Haha all good.

But yeah, I hate the Patriots and living in New England makes it worse. However, I can no longer let the hate cloud my judgement or respect for what this man has built here in New England. This is a region, where baseball was miles ahead of football, and even basketball and hockey. It's not like the Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins haven't won championships or remained competitive the last 10-15 years, its just the Patriots are that good and that fun to watch for New England fans out here.

    Woo what a game!!

My MU Tigers (you may have seen/heard already) just posted the highest score in team history through 2 quarters with 58!
And on top of that they finished the second half with 21 more unanswered points to cap off the highest Tigers score ever? at 79? Oh yeah and a shutout. 79 to Zip.

Yea was vs a weaker opp, but what a perfect example of playing the game your in until it ends. No need for changing a working formula mid game jus to say you made some halftime adjustments.

So wish my (huhuhuh OUR) NFL team knew how to keep the foot on the throat.

They sure as hell know how to give games away in the prevent D.
