What did you think of "MY" F-18 flyby?

Were they low enough, and were they fast enough?

I work out NADEP North Island, were overhaul and repair those F/A-18's, I bounce between North Island and Miramar.

So, no those were not mine, I just help maintain them.

F-4's in burner, man we used to have to trim those things, and sometimes youd get one "Back fire" or have a compressor stall. A Jet engine back firing is not good, windows break, Flames go up the intake. not good.

I was pulling a bag of peanuts out of my pocket and I ripped the bag and peanuts went flying all over everyone on accident. I was ducking (at the jet noise) and yanking out the bag at the same time the jets flew overhead and I ripped the bag.....****..... I did not know the jets were even coming.

That was the most badass thing I'd ever seen in my life.

Then LT went apeshit and took it to the HOUSE from 85 yards out. So now it's like the second most badass thing I've ever seen.

4 F18's in a diamond formation, they were'nt but 50 foot above the top of the rim of the stadium, it was dusk, so they were hard to see, and they were doing about 350 knots. You saw them, then you heard the noise. I was up in view, and I felt if I could of just reached up and hit one.

cool. tell the commanders to use aurora's next time in the diamond formation. Now that would be fun to blink see maybe.

Congrats on the f-18 fly over. I'm sure the pilots got a big kick out of it.

They brought all them Pilots into the game, and had them take a bow. If I remember correctly, it was late in the 2nd Quarter.

Thanks man! I feel better, but still not 100%. Those that know me know I'll drink a little at the tailgater. I only had one beer all day and one shot of tequilla at the Micheal's Pub talgater, so you know I wasn't feeling well.

    Chiefs-Chargers game: 43 fans arrested

Forty-three fans were arrested, 79 were ejected and 78 were issued misdemeanor citations during the Chiefs-Chargers game Sunday in San Diego.
One fan tried to run onto the field, two were cited for playing ball, and one was so drunk he had to be sent to the hospital instead of being arrested, police said. They said they didn't have any detail on exactly what the two guys were doing "playing ball". :icon_rofl:

Thirty-six arrests were for public drunkenness, one each for DUI, assault with intent to do great bodily injury, battery, domestic violence, and interfering with police during arrest.
The misdemeanor citations included theft, minors in possession of alcohol or drugs, urinating in public, :icon_eek: :nana_dance: and having glass bottles, which are banned.

Most of the ejections resulted from alcohol-related fighting, police said, but there were also ejections for violating a non-smoking rule.
These figures beat last year's game at San Diego, which were highest in the NFL except for Oakland.

Here are fan-ejection stats so far this season, with lots of holes where I was on vacation and missed the games. Those numbers are coming for Kansas City and I hope for other towns.....click on link for more

BTW - I saw people ejected that shouldn't have been at the KC game. When I was ejected from the Steelers game, that was complete BS.

I think some of the security and cops in San Diego are out of control.

I think we need security there and many of the arrests and ejections are justified, but they've taken a no tolerance policy to the extreme. One of the guys in my section was ejected because his friend was video taping him ranting into the camera. Nobody around him was upset, but security saw someone yelling and thought they needed to take action.
