My boy looked good. Indeed the critics have grown quiet (reads leisure and MTL).

Fans lost their minds yesterday throwing paper airplanes. :icon_party:

Rivers caught one in midflight and threw it. It impailed one of his own players after it flew about 10 feet

Merriman took a bow when he caught another one in midflight.

The first two series were putrid. Fans were booing the offense big time and they deserved it. They looked like ****. I have to see the replays but the roughing the passer call on my other boy, Hart, was bullshiit. He may have grazed the QB's melon with his arm. It was difficult to tell.

Anyway, Rivers has been like a yo-yo in his play. Yesterday, he took another step in getting his **** together for the stretch run.

Speaking of sanity, I thought I was going to lose my mind when the parking lot opened. Two of our tailgaters got involved in road rage against each other. It was not pretty and I had to get involved to settle them down because it was headed for blows. The cool part is they shook hands and apologized but damn, what a start to the day.

Other than that it was a blast as usual.

I had to play referree real real quickly. I actually physically got in the middle to stop the altercation. :icon_eek:

TurboTurtle, DMercado and a few others witnessed the uglyness and all I could say to them was "do you want a mimosa?" and "fukit..let's play football".

Yeah no ****. Both are friends and one had his kids with him. I had to go into major league damage control and I did not even have a freaking drink in me.

On another tangent, I met this old Ravens fan in the parking lot who was howling after I played TAPS for a few of his homies. He wanted to let all the Chargers fans know that even though he was ribbed and cajouled by the parking lot animals, he felt welcomed and safe and was happy to be a part of the parking lot experience. The old guy got a bit sentimental and wanted me to share this story with you all.

I told the old coot, "we are still going to kick your *** today".

It is funny you mention that phrase "Welcome to San Diego" because that was the last thing I said to him as I left.

Dude had a sense of humor and knew it was all good. So many stories like this never get posted because there is just so much going on all the time or I just forget to post them.
