The jersey worn by San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson during Week 2 of the 2005 NFL season arrived at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio on Thursday morning.

Tomlinson ran for a pair of second quarter touchdowns in the contest against the Broncos at INVESCO Field at Mile High Stadium on September 18, 2005. It marked the 14th straight game in which he scored a rushing touchdown to set a new National Football League record. The previous mark was shared by a pair of Washington Redskins runners – John Riggins and George Rogers – in the 1980s.

Tomlinson ran his streak to 18 games before the Philadelphia Eagles kept him out of the end zone during Week 7 action. Tomlinson's scoring rampage allowed him to tie the long-standing league record held by Hall of Famer Lenny Moore, who also scored a touchdown in 18 straight games from 1963 to 1965.</blockquote>
