VJ got #2 on this list. I do think VJ is going to be money this year, but so will Chambers.

I do really hope Michael Turner really breaks out this season (except against us) so we're guaranteed a 3rd round comp pick.

Norv used to have Irvins, Harper at WR & Novacheck at TE with the Cowboys, now he'll have VJ, Chambers, Davis, Naanee & (Parker?) at WR and Gates at TE. You know what happened with that first group....(Lombardi's)

Did these two teams suddenly develop O-Lines?

cause last I looked the Raiders last in passing yards last year.

The Lions, well, they were in the top 10 but it's the LIONS!!!

I'm just wondering how this website expects anyone to take them seriously when their writers don't even know how to use spell check. :icon_rofl:

I'm surprised to see Aaron Rodgers on the list, he's made of glass.

    The Burner... gonna miss him...

Out of LT's shadow, Turner leaps into the limelight with Atlanta

    ...

Constant support from family and friends helped Turner overcome any sense of discouragement from living in Tomlinson's enormous shadow. It also helped that months before he departed San Diego, Tomlinson told him, "It's your time. You're ready."

"I had to just stay focused and wait my turn," Turner said. "My whole life, it seems I've always had to wait. I didn't start all four years in college (Northern Illinois). I kind of knew what that feeling was and I was just waiting and itching to get out there. I was going to make the most of the opportunities I got. Every time I was on the field, I was just going to make good plays.

"I never had doubts. When I got drafted in the fifth round by San Diego, I was like, 'Okay, let me sit back and take this positively. Don't let this mess with my head or anything like that. I'm playing with LT.' He was already an established running back, and me being able to play with him and learn some things from him really helped me adjust my game to the NFL level. It worked out great.

"If it was somebody else who didn't do things like LT, I probably would have been more frustrated. But, obviously, LT is king of San Diego."

*** am REALLY happy for him... hope he kicks arse, except when we play them...

Agree. I'm really happy for the Burner. I hope he has a great season except against us. Also, it doesn't hurt us if he has a great season because a comp pick will be based on his season performance.

The Chargers current system is such that 12,000 yards and 12 TDs is almost impossible for a WR. We are too run heavy and Gates and Chambers will get too many passes their way. Bogus prediction.

Where is Amobi Okoye :icon_shrug: Teams are going to gameplan to stop Mario Williams and Okoye should get lots of opportunities inside. I expect him to get 8-10 sacks this year

Geez, who CAN get 12,000 yards in a season these days? Not as easy as it used to be.

I expect VJ to have a break out season, Calvin Johnson and and Ronald Curry will be trying to break into the clear before the QB's have to dump the ball. Curry will do better if he can break out of Turdland. I would put Rivers on this list as well. There are no defensive players in here, don't they get to have break out seasons, or do they get a separate break in list. Waters would be on my list as well. I have a sneaking suspicion that Hester may take us all by surprise.

There is probably no spell-check data base for crappy 1st round QB picks. Just ask Daveed Clingler, Ikilli Smyth, or... Rian Leif.
