In a recent post, somebody made the comment that he could not see LT finishing his career without a ring.

    Here is the question:

If you somehow knew the Chargers would never win the Superbowl during LT's time here, do you love and admire him enough to allow him a trade to another contender towards the end of his career?

Just so he can get that ring we all know he is deserved of? :icon_shrug:

This is a defeatist attitude. It reminds of a questions kids used the ask the nun's in class, just to drive them crazy. "If you were on the edge of a cliff and a hungry lion was Charging you, would it still be a sin if you jumped"?

No player "deserves" a ring if they don't have one, they either "earn" one or not

I can't think of a team that's a better contender than the one he's on.

If you somehow knew the Chargers' team plane was going to crash into the Atlantic Ocean on the flight to London, would you love and admire LT enough to trade him to another team?

I mean come on... how useless can a hypothetical be?

Fuk that shiiit. I love Seau, but I wasn't pulling for him to get a ring. In fact, I was gonna burn my Seau jerseys if they had won the SB this year. And he got cut by the Chargers.

No way I'll advocate sending the best Chargers RB ever to another team.

I never want any ex-Charger to have success, no matter who it is.

It’s kind of like sitting on the toilet to take a crap with the door open, and you don’t care who sees you.

Wait, it really isn’t like that at all.

    Never mind.

I don't mind seeing Brees continue to play well and have the success he's had. I'd feel bad for the guy if he ended up in the mess down in Miami and had his career ruined.

If the Chargers earn a ring without lt in the next few years, he would still be presented one for bringing a winning never say die attitude to the Chargers (naysayers, he was fuqin hurt) he has made our team so much better that it has ever been, and guys have fed off him for years.

San Diego Chargers come first, then loyalty to players.
