I STILL can't figure out what the flock he was doing. I mean I'm glad he f'ed that FG up, but it was one of the most bizzare things I've seen in a while. Were they going to fake the FG or did he just screw up?? :icon_shrug:

The only thing I can guess is that Tynes thought it was a fake.

The kicker thought the ball was not down.....whatever that means (from the Giants forums). Feagles had TWO hands on the ball so the holder screwed up.

At first I thought it was a muffed snap. Especially when our guys were pouncing on the ball. Then when they showed the replay, Nantz & Sims were like WTF?

I also still have no idea what happened. There are so many theories as to what happened:

We blocked it (obviously didn't happen)
They tried to fake it (that wouldn't make any sense)
Tynes got injured and couldn't kick (he was fine right after that)

I still think it was a miscommunication where Tynes thought it was going to be a fake.

The holder had TWO hands on the ball so he did not kick it and Tynes went into blocking mode for the holder. I replayed it on the DVR and the holder had both his hands on the ball so the kicker aborted.

That's true, the hold had both of his hands still on the ball, you can't really kick it when the ball is being held by that. So I think the holder ****ed it up.

Even wifey said the holder would have lost his hand and was laughing. It was a good snap. The holder just screwed it up.

Was that Feagles holding it? All I know is Tynes and Feagles better not walk the streets out there in Jersey since they'll get their butts beat up after that debacle!

Yeah, it was just the kicker thinking that the ball wasn't placed correctly and he decided not to kick it and it looked like he was just expecting the holder to jump up and try and make something happen. No fake, no injury.... just the kicker deciding at the last moment not to kick it and the holder getting to 'pay' for his last second decision.

Tynes should have just kicked some of the holder's fingers along with the ball.

I just watched a couple of the ESPN afternoon shows and still no one has an explanation for what happened on that kick. You would think that at least one of those two losers would have been found floating in The Hudson by now-- that was THE memorable screw up of their game.

Then again, who really cares? Too bad, so sad.

Hudson River? Why there? Too open. There's a much better place.

Construction is still going on at the new Giants/Jets stadium right?

Teamsters supplying concrete for support columns....

Send a message. Don't you want them to be found? Pick a spot like an alternate airport runway.

And skinny punks compromise the integrity of concrete.
