PPMI, but is this necessary for underclassmen to declare? :icon_shrug:

    Please Pardon My Ignorance

So I guess this filing is a prerequisite to declare early for the draft?

 yeah pretty much all it is, is an evaluation as to where they are projected to go in the draft to give them an idea of weather it is beneficial to come out early or stay for another year! In Flowers case he should project late first or early second round which means he probably will come out this year due to the fact that CB's usually arent drafted extremely high in the draft! And he will be joining a rather weak secondary class, Antoine Cason CB Arizona, Kenny Phillips Miami, Brandon Flowers CB Virginia Tech will head up the class!

Depending on results, Ohio State could get royally shafted.

If they are good enough they are.

Again.....i hope we sign a vet instead of drafting a rookie safety. Weddle still doesnt start and we gave up a lot for him so whats the point of drafting a safety in the first round? Particulary when the OT class is deep and we can get a good one in th first round.

Also, i dont think this secondary class is weak...at least not as weak as you think it is.

You left out Terrell Thomas, Mike Jenkins,Malcolm Jenkins, Thomas McCoud and Reggie Smith.........just to name a few.

There are some pretty good first day choices there.

Well I wasnt going to name off all the damn DB's in the draft! But in this draft it is deep with good players but no one stands out at me a cant miss prospect in the secondary. Not Kenny Phillips, nor Cason or Jenkins! I think Flowers will end up being better than all of them! Just my opinion....

Thats cool...you just said the secondary class was weak and it isnt. I only mentioned more because i thought they warranted being mentioned. I could of named more.

Your right...no cant miss, gotta have imo either but there are some good ones there.
Personally i think the guy who would be at the top of the list is already on our team in Paul Oliver. I am really glad we got him in the sup draft.

:tup: Agreed I am a FSU fan and touting a guy from VTech hurts my feelings but I have watched him play in person and promise he is the real deal! This is the same thing I told SDRon on nflfans.com before the 05 draft about Cromartie! But then it was glaring need for a CB now we need a Safety and some OL and think that either moving Jammer to Safety or moving Flowers to Safety would be a nice fit! Have you seen the video that I posted under the forum Our next Safety?

I want Duke Robinson on this team, unfortunately I think that he will be gone before we pick.
