Someone's blowing this all out of proportion.

It's like those people who nitpick the **** out of a good movie because one minor item in it doesn't make sense.

The guy wrote that is an idiot. IIRC, Flutie ran out with the flag in our first home game after 9/11. Where was his (the author's)criticism then? Some people just want to find things to b!tch about I guess.

San Diego is a military town so I would believe it would be apropreate
to honor those that live in our county and more than likely served time in the war. :bolt:

Was there any reason the Bears didn't come out with flag. Maybe they are a bunch of un-american commie bastigez. It's two days before the 6th anniversary of 9/11. Is it only appropriate to remember that day on Sept. 11th. Not before or after.
The a-hole that wrote that is a fuqing pr*ck and I would like to stick a nice old 48 star AMERICAN flag right up his arse.

This has to be one of the biggest, most stupid and idiotic things I've ever heard. I'm all for free speech and thought, but c'mon.....it's people like this that I would love to throw in one of those tackling dummies used in football practice, and then have our entire SD defense take a shot.

The word nitpicking doesn't even come close to describing what this fool is doing.

This guy is trying to make an issue where there is none. If you want to read some nefarious intent into this, you could do the same about other actions that happen every day.

It's time to stop looking for problems where there are none.

This jerk is probably from Chicago, and since he can’t write about how good his Bears look, he has to find something to take a shot at us.

Talk about jumping to conclusions and making a mountain out of a mole hill.

First week of football and this was the best thing this guy could come up with to write about?

LT, thank you for running out with the American Flag, and paying respect to the brave men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for this nation.

The guy who wrote this reminds me a lot of the guy who used to post on Padres Newsgroups everytime the Padres wore their camos. The guy was peacenik (sp?) .. he just had to post his sentiments regardless.

Thanks for trying to qualify your reponses with you showing your colors after 9/11 .. We all know your true feelings.

What an A-hole. This started after 9-11, and is a tribute to the brave men and women representing our country, both here and abroad that protect us all by putting themselves in harms way. The dude can KMA, and quite frankly, I find it offensive that he would take issue with such a display.

How many brave people had to die on that day to make this display of patriotism ok to this jackass?

    LOSER.

All you people posting that smiley with the flag need to check yourselves.

You are putting forth an insinuation that fans of any opposing teams that come here are un-American!
