I don't know dick about college ball. I've never really been a fan and have never watched many games. But I'm usually pretty decent when it comes to playing the NFL. I've only made three real money plays this year and they've all been winners. Also all from week one, no bets last weekend.

So here's some Vegas info about the NFL lines...

NO was actually sent out at -4. The big money players piled all over it and drove it to -6 or -6.5 depending on where you go. Personally I think it's still a good play at -6.5. I don't think anything is going to slow down Drew Brees right now. A couple years ago when the Pats almost cleared the table it was like halfway through the season before betters were sold on them winning every game by 20 points. I think this Saints team has the same caliber of offense. They don't have the same D, but they are going to continue to pile the points on. The Bills are a desperate team which makes them very very dangerous. I just don't think they have the skill on D to go toe to toe with the Moled One. They may or may not win by double digits, but I still like 'em at -6.5. They're also a great play as a teaser, which I really like.

Much like the Bills the Titans are desperate. They have underachieved while the Jets have overachieved. On a talent vs. talent level I think TEN has a significant advantage. Add that to the desperation and urgency and I think the Titans win this game so taking them + any amount is a pretty strong play.

I don't put money on anything that's more than a one score separation... but KC is friggin awful, and if you bet against them all season you will come out a winner. PHI is coming off an embarrassment and with Vick coming back they'll find a way to score some points. Again I wouldn't put real money on it (thought I might tease it to -3), but I'd lean towards PHI -9.5.

The Giants are currently the best team in football and TB looks like crap. Playing with funny money I like NYG -6.5.

Minnesota is no bullshit and the 49ers kinda are. Frank Gore is going to get shut down and Frisco is going to get exposed. MIN -6.5 is the lean.

I also like Oakland +1.5. J. Russell is a terrible quarterback... but the Raiders are a better team than the Broncos, straight up. Oakland is going to finish 2nd in the AFC West this year and this home game is theirs to win.

We can run the ball. We have the two headed running game. We need to focus on not turning it over though.
50's? Crap I forget that summer is over and there is another part of the country that has to deal with winter.

Half the Patriots were among Boston's walking wounded last week, now the word is that Randy Moss has a back injury and didn't practice yesterday and neither did Wes Welker.

Brady has 37 year old Joey Galloway to throw to, and that combo wasn't all that impressive last week....Galloway caught five of twelve passes thrown to him.

    Winnaz!

The 6 points made the TEN play a push so it paid like a two team teaser.

I really thought the TN +7 would be enough for a winnah... but it was not to be. I almost picked them in my pick em pool as an upset... but put a few points on the Jets at the last minute.

Man, the Jets and Sanchez are hottttt!

Seriously... I was very very close to taking 'em straight up at +1... glad I left it alone.
