YEAH! Thank god for Marlon McCree........he can totally show your rookies how to simultaneously win a game for the team, try and get onto sportscenter with a return for a TD and lose the game all in about 2 seconds!

    You guys are TERRIBLE!

Stiring the pot before the Chargers beat you on your home turf again huh? OK, if that is what it takes for you to feel like a big man.

Its interesting how much evidence is coming out that Donnie wasn't as golden as he was made out to be over the last few years. Complained everywhere to everyone about his contract, refused to help the rookies, etc. Well just hope Cooper and Wilhelm can pick up the slack.

    Btw Bendover, Mcree > Huff
And we didn't spend a first rounder on him :icon_tease:

And your team is quickly becoming Redskins North. Way to overpay for Wes Welker. Oh, and the Moss acquisition will really put you over the top, just like it did for the Turds a couple years ago. :icon_huh: The Chick is so afraid of the Chargers that he's gotten desperate. It's that same fear that causes Pats' trolls to come here in May spewing weak **** like "you guys are TERRIBLE." I think the only appropriate response to such uninventive, childish smack is, "We're rubber and you're glue..."

If you don't understand the difference between celebrating during the game, and taunting a team after the game is over, then you are hopeless. As for Brady not having a celebratory dance, that much is true. But he sure enjoys pouting like a little ***** when he loses. He didn't even shake Brees' hand after we spanked you guys in '05.

Like Philip Rivers said, Hobbs is the worst starting corner in the league, and he had absolutely no business dancing on the Chargers logo after the game. It was classless and foolish. You'll find out just how foolish it was in week 2.

Let's see, which quote is more credible: Some link to an article on a pay site that we'll never read, or this excerpt from Chargers.com?

My vote goes to the team's official web site. [IMG]

    Read it carefully:

We learned a lot from Donnie's leadership and playmaking ability.

This doesn't say they learned from Donnie, or that he helped him out. Basically it says they studied film and watched him to learn. This only provides more support on how he does not work with the rookies and teaches them.

leadership and playmaking abilities don't really translate to helping out younger players/rookies. it's one thing to lead by example but it's another thing to actually stop and help, and in the case of donnie it was probably the former. donnie's leadership role on the team was probably by default (or maybe i'm wrong) but he was the VETERAN linebacker, so it was customary to show him respect because of his age. it also helped that he had marty as coach.

Neither does Bret Favre. Many players do not.

    Don't be a hater.

Donnie provided "leadership", which can only be construed as a positive thing. I don't buy what Shammie claims in his phantom article.
