As i said on the other board.... VICK to Philly is really good for Vick... Tons of Blue Collar fans who are willing to win at just about any cost....

He's gonna get booed no matter what in Philly without or without a felony conviction.

    From ESPN

    My question: Why?
The Eagles are set at RB (westbrook, mccoy and booker), they have two QBs already and their own little QB controversy with Kolb and McNabb. So where the heck does Vick fit in?

    it makes good sense.

Established owner and coach, west coast offense...he can be backup if McNabb gets hurt.

I'm waiting to hear how much. The ONLY benefit I see to signing Vick is that you could sign him for NFL minimum. Probably just one season too.

    I heard, I think 2 years.

    and

    according to espn

Vick filed for bankruptcy protection last July, listing assets of about $16 million and debts of more than $20 million.

Does that mean he doesn't have to pay his lawyers??

    shiit

Good for Vick! He'll be an asset for them and a big help but for Vick, he has a team. He has a playoff-bound team. He has a team with attention. He'll be a good fit for Philly.

A friend of mine is an Eagles fan and he just told me that the Eagles signed Vick to be a punt return specialist. NOT TO PLAY QB! :icon_eek:

    In life, not in NFL.

There are plenty of people with felonies what are trying to get their life back and can't even get a job at a warehouse.

True, but most of them can't sell tickets. Besides, he is in a position to do some good, if he's actually wised up.

My best friend just renounced his claim to Eagles fandom. Gonna burn his gear shortly. Hopefully pics coming soon.

Now the ****er is trying to rationalize it by saying he's a fan of the "team" and not individual players.

Man, I'm gonna unload on his *** tomorrow.

I can't say I disagree with that notion.

I'd still give him hell because he ****ed up by stating he was going to do something and then reneged on it, but I wouldn't start hating the Chargers just because they signed some malcontent who's not even a starter.
