...I think in the long run if anyone moves to L.A. it'll be the Jags. The thing that bothers me is..IF the Bolts wind up leaving, L.A. was the one location I'd be the LEAST upset with. I wish San Diego could just get it done already :icon_shrug:

I agree - the Vikes are a lock with paying fans, etc., as long as they can keep the team away from party boats, etc. ;)

    The Jags, however....... Interesting thought.

The lease on the Metrodome comes due in 2011. A new stadium plan was nudging steadily forward until the I-35 bridge collapsed in August, shifting public financing priorities. The latest proposal by the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission is a $853 million retractable-roof stadium that utilizes some of the current dome’s foundation. Of course, everything is still in the planning phases at this point, and its unclear how much public financing will be able to be generated to get the project off the ground. Regardless, the clock is ticking, and the timetable does mesh if Minneapolis can’t draw a workable solution together.

I wish that these teams would just stop playing musical cities and stay put. LA Vikings, LA Jaguars, LA Colts. It all sounds stupid.

Ah but see LA is the worst. It'll be like the LA Vikings of Industry.
    The LA saints...no
    The LA Vikings...maybe
The LA Bills...:icon_rofl:That sounds downright stupid
The LA Jaguars...could get used to that.
    The LA Chargers...not bad
The LA Raiders...how it's supposed to be

Therefore...two teams will be in LA.
The Los Angeles Chargers and the Los Angeles Raiders will begin playing in 2010.

I don't get this? I felt that it went back to the way it was supposed to be when they moved back to Chokeland.

LA has that gritty reputation that the Raiders try to portray. Davis moved them back to Oakland and that's where they belong but the majority of NFL fans would say they belong in Los Angeles.

We'd have to make a new nickname for the raiders. Prob. like LGay Raiders. or Lose Alot Raiders. I like the last one:lol:

Wouldn't be ludicrous to share the stadium with them? That said someone will move their team to LA and I have a feeling it will be the Chargers before anybody else. Besides, with the Vikings, that would be two purple and yellow teams in the city and no one wants that.

LA..."gritty"? I live in LA and that's not the term I would use.

That's weird. I'd live in LA way before I'd voluntarily live in Oakland. Oakland is a cesspool. I mean, just like other cities there may be some nice places, but the majority of it is not.

I was born there (East LA), and while "gritty" is close, it wasn't quite the word I had in mind.

******...are you all looking for ******? I don't like LA, that's the point. I think Smell A is ****** and I think the Raiders are ****** so the Raiders belong in LA.

I can understand your hatred of LA (although I don't necessarily agree with it), but have you been to Oakland? It makes LA look like Shangri-La in comparison.
