Considering that they are playing teams that don't care about winning over the last 2 weeks makes them undeserving of a playoff spot.

Steeler fans should be the sick ones. They blew games against KC, Oak, and Cleveland this year, and if Indy hadn't forfeited a game to NYJ last week they'd probably be in.

I hope karma prevails and the kitties rally for a win...you never know, they are a very resilient team.

In terms of numbers, they do, but their defense never came through when it mattered.

My boss is a huge Jet's fan and is a season ticket holder, and he believes that the stat is not the mark of a great defense, but an esy schedule.

A truly great defense would not suffer so many 4th quarter collapses.

17-0 Jets. Bengals will sit their guys for the rest of the game and get beat down again next week @ home. Why? Because their offense stinks.

Yes, I could see Jets going in and beating both the bengals and colts- the two teams that "laid down" for them in the regular season.

Assuming we win in the division round, that would mean we host the jets at home! Tough defense, good run offense. We would just need to jump ahead on offense and turn sanchez into a pick machine.

Of course, I am getting ahead of myself, but Jets do look good.

Bungles are down 24-0. They may not be showing all their cards this week knowing that they will play the Jets again next week. But what can their pathetic offense possibly do next week against this D?

Marvin Lewis should have brought their A game so that they can face the Texans instead.

    Palmer 1/10 for 0 yards.

The Texans shouldn't cry because they had their chances to get in, as did alot of teams.

(Except for the Broncos, they can cry all year long because it makes me happy :tup:)

As for the Jets, well they will have to earn things when they get in the playoffs and if they bomb out they'll prove they didn't deserve it

Palmer looking Jamarcus like throwing an INT. Could he possibly finish with 0 yards?

    Yeah....and how's that going?

27-0 at halftime. Only the Patriots blow leads like that in the second half.

The Steelers shouldn't have lost to KC, Oakland, and Cleveland if they didn't want INDY deciding their playoff fate.

    This is sad.

The Bengals are barely playing their starters, and Ochocinco has a knee injury that he got from practice that has him "out".

And their DT? He started this game, but he got injured for the season last series. Pathetic. :icon_rofl:

So if I heard correctly, Ocho will change his name back to Johnson if Revis shuts him down? I'm sick of saying Chad Ochocinco haha

The Bengals did not just fold tonight, they were not prepared and got a butt wipping! Wow...how embarassing. Time to put big money on the Jets next week...too bad I'm not a betting man. I hate NY teams...this game makes me sick!

I don't think the Jets are even that good of a team. They lucked out with the Colts last week and, while they're pwning Cincy, I just don't think they have what it takes to win a playoff game

Do you really think the Bengals brought their A game knowing they could be facing the same team next week?

I'm not saying the Jets don't have a chance (that much is obvious) but I highly doubt the Bengals didn't hold at least something back tonight.

If this were a playoff game (for them) Benson wouldn't be on the bench, for instance.

And I repeat, the sad thing is that their starting DT is out for the season because he got injured this game, anyway. And Ochocinco tweaked his knee in practice.

And all week, the Bengals will have to psychologically get over this performance...especially Palmer (1 for 11 for 0 yards) and the entire vaunted defensive unit.

    That 1 for 11 isn't on Palmer.

I think there was at least 5 dropped passes that he had right on the mark.

It is one thing to lose...it is another to get totally smacked down! The Jets are owning every aspect of this game.

    Does not matter...their "B", "C" , "D" game should have been better.

Let's see what the Jets do when teams play against the Jets with purpose, I question just how 'good' this team really is
