    Who's Weddle's adoptive parent, Carrie?

Stand up and take a bow for your boy!

I'm fine with my guy! Score saving INT, nice hit of Berrian over the middle to 'enforce the zone', and several tackles of WR after the catch to prevent big YAC.

Dude's an old school, no nonsense football player, plain and simple.

So glad we got him, and he's only gonna get better.

it's going to be tough to keep Wed's out of the starting lineup. He creates things out there that help our D.:bolt:

I love Weddle's versatility. He can play any position in our secondary, it allows us to play different coverages out of the same personnel package.

It is GREAT that Cottrell is using Weddle to blitz. He is quick off the edge and takes smart angles.

My Marsha would put him over her knee and spank his little Freshman fanny.

I'll step in here and say my boy Cottrell is looking pretty good after one game. And I'm sure he has many more cards up his sleeve. Hopefully we will find out Sunday night.

I guess the best thing about having a new coaching staff is that tapes from last year are useless (sort-of). New coaches = new ideas.:icon_toast:

    Ted Cottrell >>>> Wade Phillips

Dude had safety blitzes and stunts we didn't see under Wade!

Cottrell's D made the Bears' O look like they dipped their fingers in melted Parkay half the time.

Held the #2 offense from 2006 without a TD!

What did Wade's D do in Dallas again? Oh yeah, gave up 4 TD passes to a mediocre QB.

    Pretty much, yeah.

Maybe when Cro makes a meaningful play he'll be considered an asset. Until then, he's just a project.

I think it is safe to say regarding Cro that pretty everyone would be fine with taking the risk to have him return kickoffs now. Don't have to worry about losing a shutdown corner.

Lets get him putting some excitement into opening kickoff, his only true proven skill so far.

We discussed Weddle or Hart in the preseason.
and Weddle will be a starter soon !

But we need Cromartie as well as 2nd RCB

..... unless Steve Gregory enters the scene

I think Gregory is McCree's backup, since they let Jue go.

    Gordon is the #4 CB.
