    Here are mine:

    1. Start Fast
In their last two road games, the Bolts have fallen behind 20-3 and 21-0. If we do that in Denver, we are cooked. We need to come out strong and put Denver on their heels from the outset. The Donks are built to play with a lead. And the bigger that lead, the more aggressive Shanarat and Coyer will be in their playcalling, which brings me to my next point.

    2. Make the Donk D pay for its aggressiveness.
Denver blitzes more than just about any other team, and they are at their best when they are able to get quick pressure and rattle the opposing QB into making mistakes. Therefore, Philip Rivers and Co. must make the defense think twice about bringing the house. To do this, Cam Cameron must win the chess match against Larry Coyer. If the Donks Blitz four and we are in max protect, the likelihood of success is not good. Conversely, if Cam calls a slow developing play and Denver blitzes 7, Rivers will get killed. So its important that we keep the Donks' defense guessing as to what we will do. Rivers height and quick release has enabled him to succeed vs. the blitz this year, and that needs to continue on Sunday. It's also imperative that the receivers are on the same page as Rivers. They need to recognize the blitz and adjust their routes appropriately.

    3. Stay on Schedule Offensively
LT doesn't need to get 7 or 8 yards a pop on every play, but he does need to get 3-4 consistently and avoid rushes for a loss. We will not succeed consistently on 2nd and 3rd and long against a Broncos defense built for such situations. Whether its dumping the ball off to LT out of the backfield or hitting Gates and the WRs on quick hitches we need to be consistently productive on offense, as big plays will be hard to come by.

    4. Play under control on defense.
Whether its Plummer running play action to one side and bootlegging to other side, or cut back runs, Denver's offense is built on misdirection. Our defenders need to maintain their gaps and play sound, fundamental football. Denver is not going to physically overpower our front, but they will have success if we overpursue or allow the cheating Donk linemen to successfully cut block defenders on the backside.

    5. Contain Plummer
Pressuring Plummer is not as important as containing him. The outside rushers must force Plummer to stay in the pocket. The longer Plummer has to hold the ball in the pocket, the more his fundamentals break down. He'll start to get happy feet, and then make a panic throw. The outside rushers must play under control and recognize that forcing Plummer to stay in the pocket is more important than sacking him.

Steve Foley was VERY good at keeping Plummer in the pocket. Hopefully whoever is over there stays home and does the same.

PASS PROTECTION... Rivers has been great at getting the ball out quick when he has to. But the Broncos made our offensive line look like a pop warner squad both games last year. We need to make sure Rivers has time to see the field.

STOP THE RUN... This may be the best running football team we've faced all year. And we're facing them missing several major run stuffers. And given the 440 passing yards allowed last week we probably wont see a lot of 8 man fronts. But if we can keep Denver under 100 yards rushing we ought to win this ballgame.

DON'T THROW TO C. BAILEY'S SIDE OF THE FIELD IN THE REDZONE... what's he got, five picks inside the other team's five yard line?

Good god, man. Watching Denver v Oakland last weekend... it was unreal the # of times Plummer ran that bootleg pass to the tight ends!! And Oakland was helpless to stop it. It was almost like they hadn't watched any film on that play at all!! I just hope Polk doesn't get too crazy out there and let Plummer deke him with that thing.

    My keys:
    Defense
    1. STOP THE RUNNING GAME EARLY
    2. Knock Javon Walker around early
    3. Disguise the blitzes

    Offense
    1. Get Gates involved early
    2. MORE MICHEAL TURNER!!!
    3. Get VJ matched up on a Safety and give the Northern Colorado star a chance to show 'em up in Denver!

All this high powered analysis and you guys still do not know **** from shinola.

    Look it is too simple.

Marty needs to start using the halftime speech that "I am going to rip you a new assshole" at the beginning of the game versus halftime.

Problem solved. :icon_banana: :bolt: :icon_banana: :bolt:

Dood, that bootleg is totally my favorite play in Madden '07 (and '06, and '05, etc, etc).

I hope more Michael Turner doesn't mean less LT...

Welcome to 7-3, genius. I watched the Turd/Donk game on Sunday, and the Donks blitzed more than 5 times in that game alone. So unless you have some incredibly deformed, 24 fingered hand, you don't know your team very well.

not like that front four minus Dumervill is any good at pass rushing
we need quick slants and outs to counter that

That's cool but our secondary can't catch......maybe Jake could hand the ball off to one of our linebackers.

To win this game all we need to do is to have constant pressure on the snake, and watch him throw three or four INTs.

YUP !!! This will be key to keep plummer in the pocket. He's far more accurate throwing on the run with his bootlegs.

key to winning: throw the ball TO champ.. maybe rivers can hit him in the back of the head with the ball and knock him out or something?:icon_shrug: if not then just dont throw anything his way and we win!
