If you had the ability to relocate a NFL team, where would it be and why?

Jacksonville needs to be moved.... LA, of course. I really would hate to see the Vikings move. And Buffalo fans have always seemed pretty loyal.... a shame to move that franchise after it's been around so long. Can we move Goodell somewhere? Like the middle of an Indonesian forest?

I live in FL and there are too many teams. Nobody supports Jacksonville because it basically is a military town. Outside of that there is not much there including NFL fans. Miami's demographics have changed over the years and football is not part of their "culture" any longer. Tampa is the only logical team but Florida has went to hell because everyone from NY has moved here. There are more NYG and NYJ jerseys in this state than any FL jerseys.

Jacksonville Jaguars moves to City of Industry, changes name to the L.A. Knights, gets moved into the NFC West, St. Louis gets moved into the AFC South.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys remain in the NFC East.

Easily the worst of all. I think HOU or DAL should be in the West, and STL or KC...or both...should replace them in the East or South .

Clearly they're just trying to keep old rivalries alive, but geographically its just a joke.

Just move the Dolphins to the AFC South, Colts to the AFC North, and the Ravens to the AFC East. Meanwhile, in the NFC, switch the Dallas Cowboys with the Carolina Panthers.

    All set

OK, I've got one for you. Say the Jaguars move to Los Angeles and after realignment are moved into the AFCW who is moved out, KC or Denver?

    Simple.

That opens up a spot in the AFC South. Move KC there.

Sounds good. San Bernardino needs a team largest county in the nation.

that's not true. North Slope Borrough in Alaska is much larger. So let's put a team in Barrow!

Dallas will stay in the East. That way they make a trip through New York every season. And the old rivalry card will be played just like when they moved the Seahawks out of the AFC into the NFC.

The Chargers will fight any team moving into LA, they will claim territorial rights. Now the Chargers moving up there is another thing. They can’t even sellout a home game unless the fans from the other team buy the remaining tickets. And if a new Stadium has to be approved by the voters you can probably forget that, the voters still are smarting from the last vote for expansion. And once again there are not enough Charger fans to outweigh the vote.

Here's my thoughts on the division realignment. One possible solution.

AFC EAST: Gay Pats, NY Jets, Buffalo, and Baltimore.

AFC NORTH: Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Indy.

AFC SOUTH: Miami, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Houston.

AFC WEST: Stays the same because of the rivalries going back to the old AFL days.

Baltimore-Pittsburgh is a newer rivalry, just as Indy-Patriots (Manning-Brady) used to be, so it's easy to move Baltimore. Indy has no real legit rivalry in the South, or history there, they were in the AFC EAST not that long ago.

It makes sense to me. Possibly the other option would be:

AFC WEST: San Diego, Oakland, Denver, Houston.

AFC SOUTH: Miami, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Kansas City.

Both Florida teams should be in the South anyway, and Baltimore is on the east in Maryland, and Indy is about 2 hours west of Cincinnati.

Jacksonville to LA...although there is going to need to be a new stadium in LA or it won't work.

your other option is no good, btw. Houston isn't that much further west than Kansas City but it is most definitely further south.

Say the Vikings also move to L.A. What do you suggest for NFC realignment?

st louis to NFC North. Missouri is kinda in between anyway.

Or Seattle, but I think st louis being west is just as much of a stretch as them being north (more so actually) so it makes more sense to move the Rams.

Hmm. Seattle has already moved once so the Rams make the most sense.

For what it's worth, the NFL does not want the Chargers to leave San Diego and the NFL also wants at least one team to relocate to L.A.

Any team that relocates to L.A. will recieve a significant value increase.

but it does not mean they will get the fan support. The Rams and the Raiders left, and the Raiders left after winning the Super Bowl as the LA Raiders
