    I wouldn't like that trade.

Giving up the leagues best (arguably) backup qb for a little better than average wr is not a good trade. Plus I don't feel like wr is what we need at this point. I want to see a move or two made to sure up our trenches or safety help.

i get what your saying, but brandon lloyd is a good receiver, and i think with his height 6 ft 4, floyd 6 ft 5, Jackson 6 ft5, gates 6 ft5, i think we could give so many fits, for this reason, how do you out jump them?

The Donks would never trade Lloyd to a division opponent.

I would trade Larry English and Steve Gregory to the Pack for Charles Woodson and Clay Matthews. Oh wait, you wanted realistic trade scenarios?

yea realistic, the only reason i think the broncos would ever make the trade to us, is the face that they are weak at QB, and i dont think tebow is gonna show neither will orton. This is just for shits and giggles, i just wanna hear who yall are willing to give up to get who u want

True, and Billy wants a starting spot or at least compete for a starting spot.

Maybe we could get to Ron Rivera to give us Shockey or Olsen at TE for a reasonable price. With Gates very questionable to contribute at a high level this season it might be good insurance.

I like this idea. I don't think he'd give up olson but a 5th rounder for shockey would be great.

Why not then trade Tolbert to the Lions for Schefter and a 4th or 5th rounder?

I like that TE from Carolina idea. How much has Shockey got left?. I remember Olsen being given great write ups before he was drafted but he has never amounted to anything has he?.

    or a
    5th for Jerry Hughes
    or a

Agreed. everyone around Denver has been saying there is no way they trade away Lloyd becuase they know the fans will turn on them for trading away Tebow's only quality target, and they are not going to do it for a QB knowing that they have to give Tebow the rest of the season to sink or swim

I can't believe the Broncos gave away Lloyd for next to nothing. They are only getting a 6th that can become a 5th if he has 30 receptions with the Rams. So even if he does, a 5th for Lloyd seems really cheap

No kidding, and remember Santonio went for a 4th last year.

Just goes to show what WRs are in this league.

Lloyd went cheap, but he is 30, and in the last year of his deal, and would probably walk for nothing anyway. A disgruntled #1 receiver who was probably walking after the season anyway was likely more trouble in the locker room than they need, they aren't competing for anything this season so may as well have got somethign now rather than lose him for nothing next season.

On the Bolts side, i'd love an under the radar OLB pickup, maybe someone who hasn't done so well in another team that might fit our system better, ntohing huge, but a little pickup that could pay off.

Like Barnes or LaBoy? I would rather address the DL if we are going to go after that type player

What trade would I like to see?

Vikings trade McNabb to the Raiders for McFadden and Oakland's few remaining 2012 draft picks. ;)

Barnes is a situational type of player who does well rushing the QB but isn't really starter material, and to be honest i think LaBoy is a scrub. I don't think we need DL either, we have enough. A safety may be a good idea if we're shopping, but to be honest i could only see small moves if any.

Probably because he doesn't have the same team he had in San Fragcisco...

My theory is that it was the team (defense) in SF that should get the credit, and not the coach. If you need further proof, look at who is coaching them currently, and their defensive ranking.

The point I was making is that there isn't very many "under the radar OLB pickup, maybe someone who hasn't done so well in another team " out there, and that is what Barnes and LaBoy both were when we picked them up. Guys like James Harrison don't come around very often

wow a lot of great responses , i do like the shockey trade, i think it would be a great pick up... and for OLB thats another great idea, Laboy hasnt really impressed me and neither has larry english. So another great idea

for shockey we give carolina an- 5th round pick and Cam thomas.
and i wouldnt mind having merriman back from the bills if we only give up a a 6th or less. he could be a teaching assset

If Brandon Lloyd was only worth a 6th/5th, not chance Shockey is worth a 5th AND Thomas. Thomas isn't going anywhere
