I need some help from my bay area bolt brethern. I am going into enemy territory for thanksgiving. Will be flying into and out of Oakland and staying in the Napa area over the weekend. Any good places to watch the game?

That sounds like a blast. Too bad you won't be able to sneak over to OB for a surf.

    Have a great Turkey Day!

As a place to watch or to stay?

    Already got a place.

I was thinking that due to our flight time we might have to watch somewhere near vallejo (don't want to go all the way into Oakland to watch it).

I know, but I got a pretty good session in this past Saturday in Whiting Indiana near the horseshoe casino. Waves were about chest high on the sets and not too messy for the lake.

Not sure if you've ever been there but Vallejo isn't exactly the safest town in the Bay Area. Other than that I'm not real familiar with the North Bay. A lot of the golf courses up here carry sunday ticket so keep that in mind.

Pretty much the only place in Vallejo I have been is six flags. I went to school up in the Napa area for three years, so I know the area some. I just know I won't have time to drive all the way into SF to watch it at a nice place there since we are flying back out of Oakland.

I'd keep my eyes open as I drive in, but I am probably going to drive the silverado trail (Oh yeah, I am bringing my Charger flag for my rental:icon_banana: )

I am going to hi-jack my own thread and brag that my wife got me tickets to the last game of the season for my birthday so hopefully I will get to meet some of you.

I am torn, though between wanting to see LT make history and wanting him to rest up for his big playoff game.

I might just go there (unless you are playing some sort of evil trick on me and it is a Raider fan place for away games).

Thanks for the birthday wishes, I didn't have internet access up there so I didn't notice this until today.

Ended up watching the first half at Pizzeria Tra Vigne in St. Helena. A college friend of mine works there. Would have stayed longer, but it was just pouring outside, and I was afraid of accidents backing up traffic even worse than normal for the sunday after thanksgiving.
