I dispise Anthony Dixon as a prospect. He's got LaMont Jordan written on his forehead, he's a glorified FB who will need his O-line to carry him @ the NFL level because his 4.7-4.8 speed won't get him through the line.

I like Gerhardt, just solid hard charging focused inside runner. Better then Brian Leonard was.

I kinda have this weird vision of drafting Gerhardt and Best in the same draft, providing an inside and an outside RB (obviously not in the first/second each).

I don't see the Chargers doing anything before the draft, except release LT. It would make more sense to trade Cromartie on draft day.

workplay, thanks for those rb clips. Thats a good selection of rb's. They are good but they seem like 2nd rounders to me. In which case I'm praying we can trade Cro for middle 2nd rounder and be able to grab one of these rb's.

the Chargers have a lot of FAs to sign, tender or release, if tender I want to see if they stay or if we get draft picks in return, all of that activity is also free agency

I was checking out the cb class for this draft. And its really deep. There are maybe 10 cb's in this draft that will play in the nfl. Maybe more. Now my fingers are crossed to trade cromartie for a second rounder (praying hard) and possibly using the 1st pick on a cb. I think we can land a really good rb in the 2nd round. If we could get a middle 2nd rounder for cromartie we should have no trouble landing a good rb. There are like 5 or 6 rb's in this draft that are really pretty good. I'd sure love to get a really good linebacker. But if we trade cromartie we may need to go cb.

I'd love to get linebacker brandon graham somehow. After watching woodley destroy teams this year. And then watching freeney on a bad foot destroy the new orleans line you can't help but feel another linebacker like that would be nice to have. And then theres linebacker Vilma. Geez is that kid good. He was everywhere blowing things up.

If we lose Merriman or Phillips I agree about another OLB. Personally I kinda like Selvie more then I like Graham, just more athletic and I think a better mix of moves. But Graham can handle being the focus whereas Selvie clearly can't.

I'm fine drafting a CB but just MUCH later, even losing Cromartie that's not an area of immediate need and I still wanna see what Hughes can do
