Same here. One of the most crushing losses in the teams history because one player wanted to make sports center.

    1. We @wn Peyton and he knows it. :broncossuck:
    2. Playing in Indy is like another home game.
    3. Rivers is the MFIC in Denver and Indy.
    4. The oddsmakers are all idiots.
    5. The Pats are only in it because of the weakass division they play in (the Colts will take that game).
    6. They're making the hats and t-shirts right now in China. Superbowl XLVIII Champions/San Diego Chargers.
    7. Go Bolts! :bolt2:

    Here is an amusing factoid:

    1- SB XLVII Winner >>> Ravens ... L against Eagles @ Philly's home opener 24-23

    2- SB XLVI Winner >>> Giants ... W against Eagles @ Philly's home opener 29-16

    3- SB XLV Winner >>> Packers ... W against Eagles @ Philly's home opener 27-20

    4- SB XLIV Winner >>> Saints ... W against Eagles @ Philly's home opener 48-22

    5- SB XLIII Winner >>> Steelers ... L against Eagles @ Philly's 2nd home game 6-15

Discarding # 5, the last 4 SB winners all played the Eagles at the Eagles home opener and with the exception of Baltimore, every other team who beat the Eagles at home, went on to winning the SB

Saw that. So does that mean the Eagles will never get to the SB again?! :0

    Fixed.

As for the answer to the question, while I'd rather face the Colts, I think the Chargers would also love the chance to walk into Foxborough and stick it to Brady.

The Colts are the easier game, despite New England having a bunch of injuries they are still an experienced playoff team.

As for McCree, I too will never forgive that dude. It felt like the superbowl was our destiny that year, that Marty would finally get the playoff success he never had.

    NE for two reasons:
Don't want to play an artificial turf team on their home turf.
Crowd noise likely much louder inside domed stadium.

I think you are giving McCree way too much credit. The problem wasn't that he was thinking about making Sportscenter. It's that he wasn't thinking at all.

I will never forgive Marlon McCree unless the Bolts win a Superbowl and only then maybe.
    Now it is truly fixed.

I'll take the crowd noise and the artificial turf over the NE weather any day. I think on a neutral field, the Chargers are likely to beat either the Colts or the Pats. The dome is much closer to a neutral field than NE in a blizzard.

We can win indoors, we can beat Luck w/ Pagano's crazy stunts. Going to Foxboro is a recipe for disaster on many levels

Patriots if for no other reason I wanna see if McCoy could do what neither Turner nor Schottenheimer was able to do; beat the Patriots when it counted.

Colts for weather, New England to ruin the lives of Boston fans if the Bolts make it to the SB.

I don't see the disaster. The Pats are a dropped TD pass away from losing the last two AFC Championship games at home. And they are not nearly as good a team this year as they were the last two seasons.

Personally I see the Colts as a one trick pony (pun intended). It's TY Hilton and nobody else, they don't run well, their CBs are playing hurt, they are only okay at at rush defense, and to be honest Luck had a horrendous 1st half of that game.

The Pats run the ball very well, and they have Brady and Belichick. That's enough to scare me. Bellichick is awesome at taking away what a team wants to do most on offense, I think they'll shut down Hilton this week and I think even without Wilfork they could stifle our running game if they chose.

That's not to say we couldn't beat either team, I'll just take my chances with anyone other than Brady, Bellichick, and the unnatural amount if luck they have in the playoffs.

It's not like we have the King Of Clutch blowing field goals for us or FumbleFingers blowing game winning interceptions for us.

    What could possibly go wrong?

Indy's play this season has made the Bolts look consistent. Indy has beaten some really good teams, but they've also been blown out by some bad teams. I expect they are going to come crashing down to earth on Saturday, but you never know.

So long as Rivers has both his ACL's intact, I like our chances.

Would have preferred Indy. It just seems like Belichik could trot out a Boy Scout troop and win in the playoffs. Anyway, moot point unless we take care of business tomorrow....
