Remember when we had guys like Damian McIntosh, Kendall Jacox, an aging Vaughn Parker... I used to dream about having an o-line this solid--even if it isn't perfect by Trumpy's standards. ;)

    GUESS WHOES LAST!!!!

    32. Oakland Raiders (16 points): Oakland quarterbacks were black and blue throughout 2006 -- the pass line surrendered one sack for every 7.7 pass attempts -- and their run line ranked 28th.

:icon_rofl: aww those poor raiders, they try sooo hard.

I agree, we have the best o line from center to left tackle but we need to address the right side.

anybody think Joe Staley would be an awesome addition to RT? If the safety's or WR AJ wants is gone, I'd love for us to beef up some more and move Olivea inside.

We are sitting on #1, and the Raiders are sitting dead last. Does it get any better?

Our line was a big concern as recently as 2005. But Hardwick and Dielman really stepped it up, and Marcus McNeil is a beast who will be in the Pro Bowl for years to come. It really is amazing how much we improved from one year to the next.

That article needs an update. Did you see Tha rock's thread? Oakland just signed Cooper Carlisle.

I'd move the Raiders up to 30th now.

Staley is an incredibly tempting pick. The idea of putting him on the right side and moving Olivea to guard... shoot, that locks down the Offensive Line for years.

If Ginn and Rice are gone, I hope AJ gives it some serious thought.

You would move them up that far. The line has to play as one, if all you have is 1 good player, then all you have is one good player. All his addition will mean is we move a player to the side he is not, that way he can block air, while his teammates are watching the defense run by them.

That would be fair, after all USC has one of the highest payrolls in the league :icon_tease: :icon_rofl:

    And we know this, how?

Look I think moving Olivea inside might work, but I'll also note he continues to be the RT for this team, so it makes me wonder if this isn't the same as people who think we should move Jammer to safety. It's one of those things that sounds great in theory but which the Chargers won't do because they know it's better to improve a position that's weak by 20% than improve a position that's solid by 3%.
