I would let him twist in the wind to reflect his life before the decision came down. I would have given his *** about 60 seconds.

Then, I would have pulled the trap doors' handle and would have shouted...."akbar allah....allah is great"

AJ and Dean are at a millionaire's club getting wasted, smoking a huge spliff and sharing Marty stories and jokes, having Dean's personal assistant read news headlines about Marty every 5 mins.

Did you really think they were not going to have fun at Morty's expense? Might as well fire him in style.

Correct me if i'm wrong (and I might be) but, doesn't the owner (not the GM) control who is and who isn't head coach?

Because the final say is up to the Dean and his Dad.

AJ will have his input, but the Coaches contract was signed by Dean not AJ.

They didn't want that personal services BS that Beathard had with Ross, that made it impossible to fire Beathard and not Ross.

AJ can only recommend, which I'm sure he has, repeatedly, for the last few days.

I was thinking that yesterday. Or someone like him. A young smart good teaching football coach.

Or even the boise state coach. I don't know if they're too young. Or how they'd handle pro players. But these guys are smart.

If Marty winds up leaving, that is exactly the call I would make.

    The man is a winner.
