Lets look ahead and talk about the month of November, and even part of December.

    November:
@ Minnesota - Very loud dome, very good defense, Rivers tends to struggle in these settings.
vs Indy - Manning will pick us apart.
@ Jacksonville - EXTREMELY tough place to play, a team that is getting much better.
vs Baltimore - Still very lame offensively, but they can stop our offense.

12/4 @ Kansas City - In Arrowhead, need I say more?

We HAVE to start November 4-3, or we stand little or no chance of making the playoffs this year. Give me your thoughts.

    Dude, we arn't the players.
Its not going to doom the team because a couple FANS are looking ahead.

Well I'll give you one reason why they have to win in Jacksonville...

I'm going to be at that game and anything less than a solid win will be unacceptable.

Minn - good defense but they play in a weak division.

Indy - We'll be up for them. Our Offense will come to play and keep Manning off the field

    Jacksonville - true

Balt - we'll take care of them this time around!!

After the Chiefs debacle, I have sworn off predicting the outcomes of Charger games. Will we get the team that woke up and decided to play in Denver or will we get the bewildered, hopeless "effort" they gave in New England?

    :icon_shrug:

They should beat all those teams, but I have no idea if they will.

Minn- So did the Packers, and the Chiefs for that matter.

Indy- I'm not confident we can even stop Damon Huard these days, much less Peyton Manning.

Balt- I actually think we'll roll over them easily if our O-line plays like it did yesterday.

I'm not going to put any stock in how we preformed in those games

    We were not prepared

I think we'll see a different team from here on out

Got to agree here man. Let's just take it one game at a time. After the previous 3 weeks, we need to focus at the task at hand. I see where you're going Matilack, I did the same thing, looking at my pocket schedule, but if we don't focus THIS Sunday, it could be over like that. Beat the Faiders, go into the bye then lets chat about it. NO team is an easy win. Not even the freakin Houston Texans. Can't overlook anybody these days. Let's just put a similiar beatdown of those Faiders this Sunday!!!!

Man, look at that poor kid in your sig photo! Being indoctrinated into a life of face painting and dressing up like a moron to go watch a football game. But hey, you get to be on TV all the time, and that's what it's all about right? :icon_rofl:

I look it from another perspective.

A 10-6 record will "most likely" get us a wild card or outright win of the division.

So I look at the number of losses we can endure. The number is more or less 6.

    Totally agree,

6 losses and we are still in the division title run.

but we need to win the division games!!

10-6 wins this division EASY. 9-7 might even win it. That means 8-3 from here on out. How we get those 8 W's doesn't matter to me.

It's a down year in the AFCW. Thankfully.

I still hope to win all of our games. I predicted 13-3 before the season. Every game will be hard as LT 21 and BlueandGold say. But it's good to be in wickey wackey division so
10-6 can perhaps bring the top of the division.

What kills me is like most of you have mentioned, when this team plays like it did yesterday, we could go 13-3. But lose focus for 1 game and it could be 9-7 or worse. The Raiders will not roll over for us and would love nothing better than to piss in our cornflakes after killing the Broncos. They were a VJ "Spin" from turning that game last year when they played us here at the "Murph". They're O doesn't scare me though and they lost to those same Broncos so if we play like we did yesterday, it's going to be another beatdown. Maybe not as bad, since they're D is very tough. I actually like Huff and Morrison. 2 young studs on D. Ryan is a solid D coordinator too. Let's just play Charger Ball like yesterday and roll opponents one at a time. I think the team's focus is on nobody else but the Raiders all week, and it should be.
