I've seen several articles saying that they didn't think the Chargers would be a 14-2 team again this season, maybe not, maybe they go 15-1? Maybe they go 13-3?

I know how everyone here loves a good poll, so here's a poll to fnd out what you think. Will our reg season record be better, worse, or equal to last season?

It's real hard to look at any game on the schedule, consider our team matched up with any other team, and predict that we'll lose.

With that said, I predict we'll have a slightly worse regular seaon record, (probably only by a game or two) and a much better post-season one! :icon_toast:

I just can't see us with our schedule and some real tough games, going 14-2 again
I think we'll win the AFC West, I think we'll go well into the playoffs but I don't think we'll have a better record

    It will be the same,

We will be the AFC West Champs 2 Years in a row.

And the amount of wins doesnt matter.

As long as we make the playoffs and win out to hoist a Lombardi I don't really care what the regular season record is...

and by the way, I would prefer that you keep your pole to yourself...:icon_eek:

Your right, but if we smoke the Bears and Pats early on, then the rest of the league will be eating our dust. Turner is going to open the throttle up. If we stay healthy, we could simply overwhelm some teams.

But we all know what regular season win/loss records mean.

Nothing when it comes time to play for real.

I hope this team remembers that walk off the field our last game.

I think they will, it'll burn in their bellies all season.

I also think they'll do good enough in the regular season to assure themselves a good playoff seeding, at least 1 home game and maybe even another bye.

The 1st round bye makes getting to the big dance a little easier, so I think they'll probably get that locked up, and then start chilling a little and getting ready for January!

That week off was nice, but did it help?

It didn’t hurt the Patriots. I think it kept them hungry.

Then again, the Colts were able to capitalize on it.

Neither the Colts nor the Pats got a week off. Both hosted games on wild card weekend. Both teams with byes went one and done.

In addition to the rest that any player gets after a long season and the extra recovery time that a dinged up player gets, it's just a matter of simple mathematics:

With a bye week you only have to win two postseason games to reach the Superbowl, without it you need to win three!
