This is very good. WIthrow is a good center. We will need him. Hope polk signs back on as well. WE need another good special teamer and backup up linebacker.

ehh, Withrow is alright in backup. But he'll get 1 or 2 snaps a year due to Hardwicks iron man mentality.

I don't like that he looks like he has a penchant for chowing down cheddar at an awful pace:

...and that he resembles the creature from Goonies:

Other than that, I'm very excited about this!!! :icon_tease:

    You are 100% correct.

We needed to do it otherwise we are hurting at that spot and as you suggested, we would have to get one (back up center) somewhere.

Staley or Blalock at 30 move Olivea into RG but he has to go to fat camp so he can be effective on the move. Honestly I am getting a huge feeling that if Staley is there AJ will take him. AJ always goes BPA and Staley is one hell of a football player. He's got size, unmatched agility, and the work ethic.. He was going against Daniel Bazuin who is one sic mother****er everyday in practice. He can play RT and you can see what this guy will look like once he fills out his frame at like 315-318. I honestly think Staley will end up being better than Joe Thomas. O-lineman get injured so often it is extremely important that we come out of the draft with a quality lineman so our season isn't ruined if a guy like McNeill goes down. All the talk about Eric Winston last year being a super athlete and ****... Staley is what Winston was supposed to be and then some! Maybe I am a Chippewas homer but Staley is GAWD.

Who the fuc are we kidding why will AJ all of a sudden take a S on the first day or WR in round 1? The dude will draft BEEF and has publicly stated that he REALLY wants another o-lineman and also some defensive studs to give to Cottrell.

I don't want to see us take a slob any earlier than the 3rd round. We have to get a safety and a wr with some speed.

I'd have not problem drafting some beef in round 1 and a safety in round 2. You can get very good value beef typically at the end of the first round.
