Stuttgarter Kickers and Bamberg Rauchbiers get important wins today.

Fortuna Dusseldorf is now in trouble.

Now official. All German Champions League Final. What I wouldn't give to go to Wembley for that game. Hooray Bundesliga!

Well the title of the article says what I've been saying for a few years.

    http://www.bundesliga.com/en/liga/news/2012/0000251822.php

I bet Podolski misses the Bundesliga now since his move to Arsenal and has spent plenty of time on the bench. I don't think he went to Arsenal thinking he'd miss as many playing minutes as he has. Only with Giroud's (who seemingly isn't better than Podolski) suspension is Podolski starting again. However, that's Wenger's fault. He's an idiot.

Hey Tyce. It has indeed been a long season. I am looking forward to a bit of time off.

PS. Wenger is not a bum.

Yup. Not much going on this summer either. No major tournaments. I guess we got the Gold Cup but that's it.

Quite a few Arsenal fans would disagree with you here.

Confederations Cup and a few U-(whatever) tournaments. It is going to be slow.

Certainly the ones who do not look at the body of his work during his entire tenure there. Wenger has done well for them. What plagues Arsenal currently are the new financial realities they face. That stadium sure is nice though.

    ....

City beat the Baggies today to at least clinch third and a spot in the UEFA CL group stage. The FA Cup final is the last meaningful game.

The Kickers have Cottbus at home and Darmstadt away. One win would ensure 3. Liga survival.

Piers Morgan, who you know is a big Arsenal fan, has been pretty adamant that Wenger leave his post. He doesn't believe he has done enough recently to keep his job.

Bamberg has 3 games left. They are currently in 14th. 18 thru 20 get relegated, and 16 and 17 have playoffs for relegation, so we just need to end worse at 15th for Regionalliga Bayern survival.

    What ????????

Thought for sure there'd be a SandyBob sighting in here this morning after that shocker his Man C. Boys put in this morning !!!!

What an upset !!!!!!! ........ Loved it, sorry SandyBob, but the occasional "major shock" does my heart good in knowing that its still possible in today's sports (business) world. ;)

I think he'll show up soon. Wow... Wigan, quite shocking indeed. I didn't even see it until later today. Not the most exciting of trophies IMO.

Rooney left out of the Ferguson's last home game... quite telling.

So I watched both Bayern Munchen's and ManU's trophy celebration. Bayern's looked a lot more fun with the players pouring beer over each other and having fun. ManU looks boring and uncomfortable. Bayern much better.

Looks like the Kickers just need a draw against Darmstadt to survive.

The Bamberg smokeybiers secured survival with a win Saturday. An old rivalry will continue next year for Bamberg as Schweinfurt will get promoted to the Regionalliga Bayern. That will most likely be the game I go to next year.

Koln made an incredible 2nd half comeback but still fell a tad short for the playoff promotion. I now fear K'Lautern will face my Altbiers instead of Augsburg. Damn.

This FA Cup final was a disaster of biblical proportions. I had chosen this as my first occasion to watch a match in the company of the MCFC Support Club in Toronto. Maybe I cursed them. There was a lot of cursing going on anyway.

True... a draw should do it. Kickers fired their manager mid-season and now he is with Darmstadt. It should be an interesting affair.

D'dorf is in big trouble. A win vs Hannover would be huge for them.

Mate, I take back everything I said about your Man C........ my sincere apology's.

My Leicester boys have taken the well worn clique, "Snatching defeat from the jaws of Victory" and taken it to a level that may well never be matched.

    You seen this vision ????

    http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/f...tball-match-ever/story-e6frfg8x-1226640993949

Like its NOT embarrassing enough once, but they have to show every broadcast and call known to exist, just to rub it in a little more.

Absolutely heartbroken ............... mind you, maybe it was just desserts for the penalty they were awarded in the first place ........

Its those type of calls that will always stop Soccer from being a totally legitimate sport among many peeps in the world, just not on, that guy should never be allowed to ref at U9 level, let along Pro's.

It was a cruel twist of fate Jack. After they had pipped Forrest to get into the playoff, I thought this may be the year that they at least make it to Wembley.

    Fark!

I'd settle on Wenger. Why not? Rafa has done alright for Chelsea too. It appears that the Malaga manager Pellegrini looks to be in the frame for the job. I think Kloppo would be my choice. Fat chance of that happening though.

Well NOT for Mancini it doesn't mate. ;)

Seriously though, knowing how you felt badly for Norf and the shite he copped from many of us over the years, how the farg do you feel about how EPL Managers are treated, especially your own Club ????

Bloke wins an FA Cup the year before, Clubs first League title in 44 years last year and according to some twathead spokesman from the club, DIDN'T (and I quote) .......

Ohhhh MY !!!! ....did he use the "H" word ?...seriously !!!!:confused:

You've got to be fargin' kidding me .................. the word Holistic appears in the sacking of a Football Manager !!! ...........well, I can die peacefully now knowing that has finally happened.

Wonder how many pub-bashings the Gallagher Bros started last night after hearing this news ???

Not much going on upstairs with those 2 watt light bulbs. ;)

Wonder how Leicester City can top this one ????

I tell ya SandyBob, Im the biggest jinx of a supporter on Earth, I swear.

Seems every sports team I follow has this inevitable ability to not only lose consistently, but do it in a manner of such magnified and proposterous ways, maybe there really is a God afterall, who figures I owe him bigtime ????

I just laugh now, the hurt has long past and I'm all about just gliding in for the final chapter these days, certainly not worth getting emotional about, been snakebitten more times than Steve Irwin has Doggie-humped a Crocodile and had ball-chafing from wearing too-tight Khaki shorts.

So is it Watford vs Crystal Palace for the promotion? I thought Brighton & Hove Albion had a good chance to win it.

Well at least I can say I lived long enough to see MCFC win one. That seemed more sublime than anything. I imagine seeing the Chargers there one day. It is really a distant thought as it stands now.

Anything can happen in the playoffs... (see Leicester City). Direct promotion is the way to go.
