    Wenger is solid Tyce.

On a more interesting note... it seems Bob Bradley is becoming something of a folk hero in Egypt by literally dodging the bullets. He stands to become the first popular American abroad since Patton in Luxembourg and Elvis in Frankfurt. :D

In other news... Slur Alex is living up to his name by slagging one and all in his new book.

Nice one. I had decided to strike Lance Armstrong from the list.

What about Bobby Fischer? He gets style pts for being popular elsewhere but NOT in the US.

Funny... I was having that conversation while watching the Jax game at the Chateau de Oz on the weekend. Oz figures he was more of a natural talent than Kasparov. I disagreed.

I don't know if Fischer ever gained much respect as a human being. Certainly his attacking style changed the game of Chess. But his antics during the Spassky match in Iceland rivalled those of Alan Eagleson and the Canuckleheads in Moscow in '72. Fischer is a kind of Cold War relic that didn't even do well after defecting to the other side.

Ok, so we take away his style pts.

Well the bastages still have horseshoes up the ref's ***. Little Pea should have been red carded instead of being allowed to hang around to score the winner against Stoke. Farkin' Rags!

Surprised then that he hasn't coached the Le Blues FFF team.

If he wanted the job they'd give it to him in a millisecond. But managing the FFF is like herding cats. Wenger might do it when he is finally done at Arsenal. He may just graciously retire.

Speaking of "gracious"... Slur Alex now says he famously turned down England... (the Scots would never forgive him).

Ferguson said he turned the job down twice. Speaking of ManU... they are in hot water over this.

Well we had such a great start to the season, but the FC Eintracht Bamberg Smokybiers are in real trouble. It was bad enough when Victor Gradl (second best defender) broke the inside and outside of his ankle and Flo Weininger (best attacking midfielder) tore a muscle leaving them both out for the year. The game before I got to Germany, the popular and dynamic head coach was inexplicably fired without cause and no mention as to why. This angered all the fans as Dieter Kurth was a great coach, and there was no reason given for his dismissal, all considering he had Bamberg high in the table. Now, everyone hates the new coach so much that the captain has left the team, and 2 others are following. We might not win another game this year as no one wants to play for the new coach.

Not sure why or how. They wont make the World Cup. Wasn't that the reason they hired him?

Yes... that 6-1 loss to Ghana in the first leg looks bad for them.

    ----
On a happier note... Al Abbas is going top of the table in the Pitch Howlers.

The more I read this site, the more convinced I am this Oz feller is the Messiah! Bobby reckoned he was a natural genius and that Kasp was a genius but only at chess...then went on to denigrate the rest of the best players of his day by pointing out how hard they had to work at it. I admired him for not giving a poop (is this thread "lightly" monitored too?) for sounding crazy while attacking some things no one is allowed to discuss. Did you know the creators of "Searching for Bobby Fischer" hated him out of tribal principal, he had nothing to do with the film, and that he got zero royalties from that film which profited off his name?

Costel Pantilimon is looking good. Tallest Romanian I ever saw. I'm in line for the FC Eintracht Bamberg coaching job. Wish me luck. Interview on Tuesday.

Nah. The Messiah had long hair and a beard. Oz only grows hair in places I don't want to see. The Messiah is kind and gentle. Oz plays the lead in monster movies.

Probably a courtesy benefit given I had One-to-One conversation with the Chairman of FC Eintracht Bamberg. At least they asked me what I knew about formations/strategies... etc. But they know I am upset about the direction of the club.
