I'm sure its been mentioned in another thread somewhere but I'm too lazy and really bummed out about the loss today. I'm extremely surprised Norv didn't challenge the TD pass Edwards tossed to Evans. Evans made a hell of a catch but it sure looked to me he didn't have full control. I don't know if the power outage may have prevented Norv from challenging. Even Dierdorf (I think) mentioned he was surprised it wasn't challenged. Instead he challenges the 2nd Rivers fumble that is clearly a fumble. I don't know what Norv was thinking but he sure didn't seem prepared.

I know there were other factors that contributed to the loss but how critical was Norv's non challenge.

    Limping to London. :icon_evil:

I thought the Evans TD pass was a good (clear) catch, what I saw of it.

It was real close, if he did challenged it and won I wouldn't of been surprised at all.

BTW, wonder if such things as scoreboard and such were operational.

Perhaps so, but it sure is more questionable that Rivers fumble.

The TD pass I don't think it would have been overuled and even if it had been it was (I believe) 1 and goal from the 2, it would have been 2nd and goal, they probably would have made it anyway

The Rivers fumble was clearly a fumble, but like the announcer said, what did Norv have to lose at this point?

I think the one he challenged was a "WTF, what do I have to lose" challenge.

I heard on the radio that the first Rivers fumble was very much worth a challenge but the equipment may not have been working for review.

It doesn't change the fact that the Bolts defense can't stop anybody when it REALLY matters

That and Rivers 3 turnovers. That INT hurt bad.
